2 DAYS-TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK-KENYA
OVERVIEW
TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK, KENYA, is nicknamed “Theatre of the Wild." It is well known for its large herds of red-dusted elephants! It's Kenya's most significant and oldest national park. It was established in April 1948. It’s the home of the most extended plateau in the world, covering a distance of over 300 kilometers. The Yatta Plateau is a key tourist attraction in Tsavo East National Park. The park hosts many permanent residents and giant mammals such as lions, elephants, and buffalo. Other big games at the park include crocodiles and hippos found at the Lugards Falls Waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk, Zebras, Giraffes, and many more. The park has a prolific bird life, featuring over 500 bird species recorded across the park.

DAY 1:MOMBASA=>TSAVO EAST
Early morning pick-up at 6:30 am from your hotel, then drive to Tsavo East National Park, arriving on time for the late morning game drive as we spot red elephants.
check-in at the lodge or camp for lunch.
After lunch, settle in and rest during the hottest day.
After tea time, proceed for a second game drive through the park for 18 hours in search of the resident animals, namely buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks, leopards, zebras, and different bird species, not forgetting the so-called 'man-eaters, the Lions of Tsavo.
All meals and overnight at Tsavo East Sentrim Camp or equivalent
DAY 2:TSAVO EAST=>MOMBASA
Before breakfast, embark on a short game drive in the park- this is the best time of day to spot big cats.
Thereafter, return to the lodge for breakfast.
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Mombasa, having your last lunch en route. You will arrive at your hotel at around 17 hrs.
