This region engulfs more than 17 tribes intact with their own languages and practices found no where on earth. This short days strip will show you one of the most beautiful tribe in the area called the Mursi tribe and their villages.
ITINERARY
Day 1- Addis Abeba
Arrive Addis Ababa and take city tour to visit National museum of Ethiopia, Trinity Cathedral, Markato, the biggest open air market in Africa, mount Entoto and more. O/n hotel
Day 2-Addis Ababa-Jinka
Take break fast then fly to Jinka, a small town used as a base to visit the Mursi tribe living in Mago NP. On arrival, drive to the colourful Key- afer market where the Bena, Tsemay, Konso Ari and some time Hamer tribes are meeting for shopping their goods. (Thursday). Late afternoon, visit Ari village or Jinka market if Saturday. O/n hotel
Day 3- Jinka-Mursi village-Addis Ababa
Check out your hotel then depart to Mago NP where Mursi tribes are living.
The Mursi people are one of the well known tribes in Omo valley on which women are noted for their lip plate insertion to beautify themselves. Visit their shanty village and their way of living then drive back to Jinka to catch your flight to Addis Ababa. End of our service.
