Hike and Bath @ Tarnita Lake
Join me for a relaxed and scenic adventure around Lake Tarnița, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes near Cluj. The hike begins with a short but steeper climb, where we’ll pass by two old abandoned mines, adding a touch of mystery to the journey. After this initial ascent, the path turns into a very pleasant and easy walk along forested trails with wonderful views of the lake.
Lake Tarnița has no sandy beaches — instead, you’ll find natural entrances to the water, sometimes a little steep, but always charming in their wild authenticity. Along the way, we can adapt the hike to your wishes: choosing a shorter or longer route depending on your energy and mood. A refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water is a highlight, with time to relax and soak in the peace of nature.
The total tour time is usually around 5 hours, but it can vary depending on how much you’d like to hike, how long you’d like to stay by the lake, and whether we stop at a restaurant for a meal or a drink. I am available for up to 7 hours, which is enough to enjoy the longer hike, a swim, some drying time, and even a quick visit to a local restaurant (meals and drinks are not included in the price).
We will depart from the parking lot of Profi Super in the Grigorescu district of Cluj, making it a convenient meeting point for everyone. Transport to and from the lake is included, so you can simply enjoy the day without worrying about logistics.
The price is 60 EUR per person, 50 EUR each if two people join, and 40 EUR each for groups of three. Optionally, a fourth guest can be added at the same 40 EUR rate, sharing the back seat.
