This is a 3 Days & 2 Night tour start by visiting Dar es salaam city tour, Maasai Village and Mikumi national Park. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. With almost guaranteed year-round wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time. Within its 3230 sq. km, it hosts buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, and more, and chances are high that you’ll see a respectable sampling of these

within a short time of entering the park. Maasai boma visit is another cultural experience which will enable you to experience the Maasai tribe activities and their way of life (Singing and dancing maasai songs). Dar es Salaam was founded by Sultan Majid in 1862 by given the name the abode (home) of peace. The city has much to offer for tour and leisure visitors as well as business travelers. Our tour will take us to places like Dar es salaam fish Market, Indian street to Experience different Swahili spices and local market, National museum and house of culture, Mwenge cavers market and Makumbusho Village Museum.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam Day Tour

Embark on a full-day adventure through the bustling streets of Dar es Salaam, affectionately known as 'Dar'. Once a quiet

fishing village, Dar has evolved into a vibrant metropolis, and you’re privately guided tour offers an insightful exploration of its top attractions. Experience the lively atmosphere of Dar es Salaam's fish market, where dhows arrive at dawn to unload the night's fresh catch. Wander along India Street, filled with the tantalizing aromas of East African spices and street food carts offering delicious Indian snacks as twilight sets in. Discover the historic Central Railway Station, along with architectural marvels like St. Joseph's Metropolitan Cathedral and the Greek Orthodox Church. Dive into the bustling

traditional souk, bustling with activity day and night, offering a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors, textures, local delicacies, and handcrafted treasures. Visit the Mwenge Carver's Market to admire traditional African sculptures and crafts before delving into the rich history preserved at the National Museum and the open-air Village Museum. Though modern highrises now dominate the skyline, the architectural heritage of Tanzania, influenced by Swahili, colonial, and Asian styles, remains a captivating backdrop. With its diverse cultural offerings, vibrant markets, excellent dining options, and nearby

golden beaches and lush islands, Dar is an enticing destination waiting to be explored.

Lunch break

After lunch we will visit the Mwenge Carvers market were you will experience different art and crafts from the native people of Dar es salaam and some from the neighbor regions here you can have a chance to buy if interested. After the experience we will visit the Makumbusho Village museum where you will learn about the different types of materials

different tribes use to build structure, what kinds of tools in the home they use, and to learn about different traditions of each tribe. There are too many tribes in Tanzania and are presented in one museum. After the tour your tour guide will drive you back to your hotel and it will be the end of the tour.

Day 2 & 3: Dar es salaam - Mikumi national park for a 2 Days safari

Early morning 05:00hrs on this day our driver will pick you up at the place of stay in Dar es salaam drive to Dar es salaam SGR Railway station ready for your train to Mikumi national park. On arriving at Mororogoro SGR station you be picked up with your safari guide and start your trip to Mikumi national park. The drive will take 2hours to Mikumi national park entry gate.

You will enjoy a game drive at Mikumi National Park, Great animal sightings in different areas of the park like Mkata plain, Kisungura area, and hippo dams. Animals commonly found here include lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalo's, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Our professional guide will assist you to spot animals easily. Lunch will be taken in the middle of the bush. At the end of a game drive you will be taken to a nice budget accommodation at Camp Bastian in Mikumi. Early in the morning the third day after breakfast you will have an early game drive but since this is you last safari day, the tour will be brief so you can enjoy other aspects of the tour such as visiting a Maasai Boma for a

lively Cultural Experience. At the end of a game drive, our guide will drive back to Morogoro SGR train station ready for

your train back to Dar es salaam which will depart at 16:00Hrs (We can leave much earlier depending on your Airport Schedule). On the way back you will visit the Maasai village, expect to be greeted in the traditional manner: plenty of singing and dancing, with participation, very much encouraged! There is then the opportunity to learn about some of the customary practices such as fire-making and bead work. Later we will proceed with our trip to the railway station for your

train back to Dar es salaam.
