Day 1: Excursion to Adadi Mariam Rock-Hewn Church (Nov 16)

9:00 AM – Depart from MCM after Breakfast

Drive 65 km south of Addis Ababa to explore Adadi Mariam, a remarkable 12th-century rock-hewn church carved entirely out of solid rock. This sacred site is often referred to as the “Southern Lalibela” and reflects Ethiopia’s deep Christian heritage.

2:00 PM – Return to Addis Ababa

Arrive back in Addis Ababa. late lunch in Addis Ababa at 3pm. We will Grab a fresh local fruit and healthy snacks to help ourselves till to lunch time.

4:30 PM – Drop-off to Your place & Free time Afterwards.

Day 3: Full-Day Addis Ababa City Tour (Nov 17)

9:00 AM – Entoto Mountain

Begin with a scenic drive to Entoto Mountain (3,200m), where you’ll visit the Old Palace of Emperor Menelik II, St. Mary’s Church, and the Entoto Museum. Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Addis Ababa.

10:30 AM – Entoto Park

Stroll through Entoto Park, a modern eco-friendly attraction featuring lush forests, recreational trails, and breathtaking city views.

12:00 PM – National Museum of Ethiopia

Explore the National Museum, home to the world-famous fossil “Lucy” and an extensive collection of historical artifacts, art, and treasures.

1:00 PM – Lunch Stop

Enjoy traditional Ethiopian or international cuisine at a local restaurant.

2:30 PM – Tomoca Coffee

Visit Addis Ababa’s most iconic coffee house, Tomoca, to taste the country’s finest roasted coffee.

3:00 PM – Mercato Market

Discover Mercato, Africa’s largest open-air market, where you can experience the vibrant daily life, explore local crafts, spices, and textiles.

5:00 PM – Drop off to your place.

Day 4: Churches & City Highlights (Nov 18)

9:00 AM – Trinity Cathedral

Visit Holy Trinity Cathedral, the most important Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Addis Ababa, famous for its grand architecture and as the final resting place of Emperor Haile Selassie.

11:00 AM – St. George’s Cathedral

Explore St. George’s Cathedral, built in 1896 to commemorate Ethiopia’s victory over Italy at the Battle of Adwa. The church is a masterpiece of octagonal design and houses a small museum.

1:00 PM – Lunch Stop

Enjoy a relaxed lunch in the city.

2:30 PM - Scenic Drive through the city of Addis Ababa and arrived at Rubbery Coffee Roastery. Make the best of Ethiopian coffee test and watch the coffee roasting process

4:00 PM - Drop off to your place for refreshing break before heading out for the farewell cultural dinner at 7 PM.

7:00 PM - drive to Yod Abyssinia cultural restaurant for dinner and see the traditional dance performance of the various tribal culture of Ethiopia in the same restaurant.

9:00 PM – Drive you back to your place or airport drop off.
