Hello! I'm Eljo Thoma Miti, a certified local guide, educator, and founder of Lihnid Tours and the youth eco-education initiative Lihnid Scouts. With a degree in Geography and History and a Master's in Educational Leadership, I have spent the last 15 years working as a high school teacher in one of Albania's most scenic regions, while also dedicating over 10 years to guiding travelers through the country's natural and cultural treasures.

I speak fluent English and Italian, and I combine my academic background with field experience to offer deeply informative, engaging, and authentic tours.

This experience, focused on the Pogradec and Korça region in southeastern Albania, invites you to explore the surroundings of Lake Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and discover both the ancient roots and communist-era landmarks that shaped the identity of our people. You'll also venture into hidden natural trails, picturesque villages, and lesser-known destinations far off the beaten path.

As the founder of Lihnid Tours, I specialize in customized adventures—from hiking, biking, and rowing to cultural explorations and educational programs. Through Lihnid Scouts, I also lead initiatives that raise environmental awareness among young people, connecting them with nature and heritage through exploration and community action.
