This comprehensive tour will allow you to get to know the main tourist attractions of Rio. During the tour, you will learn how to visit attractions of your interest avoiding the unforeseen. Get to know where in the city are the best places to enjoy nightlife, typical restaurants for lunch or dinner, beaches, gardens, parks and museums that deserve to be visited, among other attractions.
Since 2012, the city of Rio de Janeiro is a UNESCO World Heritage site in the category of Urban Cultural Landscapes. For this reason, this itinerary has been designed to contemplate natural attractions such as forests, beaches, lagoons but also man-made attractions like the bucolic neighborhood of Santa Teresa, Lapa Aqueduct, Sambodrome, Maracanã Stadium, Flamengo Park, museums and buildings of modern and ancient styles such as the Museum of Tomorrow and the Municipal Theater.
The tour will start in the south zone passing through the Lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas appreciating the surrounding mountains seeing the Christ the Redeemer as a highlight on top of the hill of 710 meters high. Then, head to the beach of São Conrado from where you will be able to see the famous Gavea Stone (Pedra da Gávea) and the ramp of the hang gliders in Beautiful Stone (Pedra Bonita). Enter the forest following the direction to the waterfall Cascatinha and the visitor's center in Tijuca National Park, where you will stay for awhile. Afterward, head towards the Chinese View (Vista Chinesa) to admire the lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas and the slopes of Christ the Redeemer. Continue to the city center towards the Sambodrome, Maracana Stadium, the Museum of Tomorrow, the Rio Art Museum, Cinelândia, cathedral, Carioca Aqueduct and Escadaria Selarón. Afterwards, you will pass by the Flamengo Park ending the tour at your indicated lodging place. During the tour, there will be five major stops.

08: 30 am – Arrival at the Tijuca National Park, where we will stop for about 60min taking photos and knowing details about the rain forest.
09:30 am – Departure to the Chinese View admiring the lagoon, and the surroundings
10:00 am – know the electric train station to Corcovado, the Sambodrome, the Maracana Stadium. See the City of Samba, the AquaRio and the Valongo Warf.
11:30 am –know the Museum of Tomorrow, the Museum of Art of Rio, and the Olympic Boulevard.
13:00 pm – See the Cathedral, the Municipal Theatre, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Acquedut and the Selaron Stairs.
