Makgadikgadi national park is less know, however this park houses one if the largest pan in Southern Africa. Most game drives concentrate along the Boteti river, see photo. The river is seasonal, and on its best is heaven to all sorts of animals, especially the big5.
Towards the dry season around October/ November you can experience one of the best Zebra migration, the antelope heads to the pans for their annual dose of the natural salt.
