Come and visit the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, considered the Eighth Wonder of the World.
It is a symbol of Spanish power in the sixteenth century. It combines different functions in a building: it commemorates the victory at the Battle of San Quintín, it was built as a monastery, a residence for Spanish monarchs and a royal pantheon.
In your visit you will see the Basilica, the Palace of the Habsburg, Cloister of the Evangelists, Chapter Rooms and the Pantheons, the kings and infants.
