The trail to Annapurna Base Camp is an impressive high-altitude trek that winds through a wide range of ecosystems within Annapurna Sanctuary National Park. Annapurna Base Camp is both the starting and finishing point of the trek. Annapurna Base Camp is at an elevation of 4,100 meters, and the trail to get there begins by winding its way through a magnificent forest and terraces of rice paddies. You'll move from a tropical rainforest to snow-covered peaks and knee-deep snow as you climb higher and higher.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 1: Pokhara to Jhinu Danda via Nayapul (Trekking: approximately 4 hours)

Day 2: Jhinu Danda to Bamboo (Trekking: approximately 6 hours)

Day 3: Bamboo to Deurali (Trekking: approximately 5 hours)

Day 4: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)

Day 5: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

Day 6: Bamboo to Zhinu Danda(1610m) Natural Hot Spring

Day 7: Jhinu to Pokhara via Nayapul

This hike doesn't call for extreme fitness or preparation, making it accessible to anybody interested in spending time in the great outdoors. This hike is very enjoyable for families on vacation. In order to acclimate your body to the high altitude, you should take the Ghorepani route to Annapurna Base Camp. It's a great way to stay in shape and offers you the energy for things like aerobic walking when you're in a region with low oxygen levels. Experienced trekkers in good physical condition can complete the trail in a day or less. We're going up to an altitude of about 4,130 meters.
