Explore Canyon Matka in Macedonia on a 4-hour sightseeing tour 20 km. from Skopje and cruise by small boat between the vertical rocks. Pass ancient houses, temples, and medieval monasteries.
Start at the 14th-century Monastery of Matka, dedicated to the Holy Mother of God. Walk along the banks of the River Treska, famous for its kayak competitions, following the path past the Dam and Lake Matka. Visit of the Monastery St.Andrew.
Next, climb aboard a small boat to cruise along the canyon, soaking up the surroundings and scent of flowers. At the end visiting the Cave “Vrelo” one of the deepest caves in Europe.
