Dhaka City Sightseeing ( Full Day)
Dhaka was famous for its finest Muslin cotton in the world, but came to limelight during the Mughal era as the capital of Bengal; the city has remains of Mughal establishments, buildings from the British Kingdome and the legacy of the Kings of Dhaka. Dhaka was build by the river Buriganga during Mughals now called Old Dacca. At resent Dhaka became a mega city. But still old part of the Dhaka has its own beauties as a living museum.
Dhamrai is a small township where the brass artisans presents you beautiful hand engraved brass ware and famous historical Rawth of Jagannath Deva. Before 16th century Sonargaon was the old capital of Bengal (30 km) under the independent Sultanis and you can see the different ruins from the Sultan period to the British region. Dhaka is surrounded with rivers. Cruising is another interesting part of the city. Savar is remarkable for its National's Martyr's Monument which stands with the glory of Independence of Bangladesh.

Dhaka university area, Sahid Minar, the birth place of International mother language day, Curzon Hall, Dhakeshwari the oldest Hindu temple of the town, Lalbagh Mughal fort(closed on SUN)/National Museum (Closed on THU), Star Mosque, Armenian Church, National Parliament building of famous architect, Louis I. Kahn. Also visit Sadarghat river front, Ahsan Manzil -the palace of Dhaka Kings (Closed on THU), Hindu street (Closed on FRI) etc. Will enjoy a fascinating Rickshaw Ride at old part of Dhaka. Return to your hotel late in the afternoon.
