Treking to fuya fuya peak
The program begins from an agreed point inside or outside the city, after a 17 km trip by car we will arrive at the Lagunas de Mojanda lake complex in a moorland environment at approximately 3,200 meters above sea level.
From the beginning of the walk we will see the main lagoon of the three existing in the complex, our destination will be the top of one of the mountainous elevations called Fuya Fuya, along the way we will meet various native plants with their medicinal value.
As we advance, the landscape will become more interesting, entering a typical Andean environment from where it will be possible to have a view of several Andean cities and a volcanic complex such as Imbabura, Cotacahi, Cayambe, among others
Finally we will conquer Fuya Fuya peak and share several ancient legends of the place.
El programa inicia desde un punto acordado dentro o fuera de la ciudad, después de un viaje de 17 km llegaremos hasta el complejo lacustre Lagunas de Mojanda en un entorno de paramo a aproximadamente 3200 msnm.
Divisaremos desde el inicio de la caminata la laguna principal de las tres existentes en el complejo, nuestro destino será la cima de una de las elevaciones montañosas llamada Fuya Fuya, conoceremos en el trayecto diversas plantas nativas con su valor medicinal.
Mientras avancemos el paisaje se tornará más interesante incursionando en un ambiente típico de paramo andino desde donde será posible tener una vista de varias ciudades andinas y de un complejo volcánico como Imbabura, Cotacahi, Cayambe entre otros.
Finalmente conquistaremos el pico de el Fuya Fuya y compartiremos varias leyendas milenarias del lugar.
