Winery touring & private wine tasting - one day private tour

Not very far from the bustling life of the Romanian capital there is an ancient, quiet, picturesque wine road dating back to the Roman times. It is an area famous mostly for the red wines but nowadays offering a wide range of varieties.

Start at your hotel with a morning pick up followed by a drive through the knolls of the southern sub Carpathians for about 90 mins, north east of Bucharest.

I will help you discover a countryside rich in flavors and colors. We will stop at wineries, meet locals and sip a selection of local liquors of your choice. . . or just trust the guide :).

First stop - a visit at a small, 250 year old traditional wine museum. Find out how it was done back in the old days.

After, a first sip and warm up at a local modern winery, only a few minutes away.

Exquisite lunch at a typical manor, in the middle of a picturesque vineyard, with wonderful view over the valleys; take your time to relax and take in the view.

Siesta at a 3rd winery with a selection of local wines. After, sip the last drops and sunset view at our final winery break;

Time allowing and on request, we end the day with a special dinner at a manor, on the way back; drop off at hotel.

It can be a longer or shorter day; either way, it is guaranteed to set you in a good mood.
