cappadocia underground city
The south Cappadocia tour aka Green Tour is a perfect getaway. I designed this tour especially to be outside of the city center, where it's usually very crowded. We will meet with nature for a calm and peaceful day.
We will drive to the Underground City and have the chance to get to know each other a bit more during the trip. While we enjoy the comfort of our Mercedes van we can have a nice chat about the culture and history or religion which is my personal expertise.
There are many underground cities but I always prefer to discover the Derinkuyu which is the deepest among them and where you can go as low as 7-8 floors. My guests and I always enjoy the mild hike in Ihlara canyon with as a reward a nice lunch in an authentic hut on top of the river. You can choose to eat trout from that river or go for the usual shish kebab and meatballs.
