From Nairobi: Hellsgate National Park and Lake Naivasha Day Trip With Ebike Option (Group Rates Available)

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Naivasha, Nairobi, or any Airport within those areas as we head towards the stunning Hell's Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha.

Upon arrival at Hell's Gate National Park, your guide will lead you on an exciting walking, or manual bicycle cycling trip. Ebike cycling is available but at a 40 USD extra charge per person. As you make your way through the park, keep your camera ready to capture sightings of herbivores such as zebras, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs, and wildebeests.

The journey leads to the park's highlight—the Ol-Njorowa Gorge. This scenic gorge offers various hiking options, where you can explore the fascinating Pride Rock from the movie Lion King.

Lunch is optional (and not included in the package), and you’ll have time to enjoy a meal before continuing the second part of your journey. Guests are advised to pack some snacks as sometimes activities in the park go past lunchtime.

In the afternoon, the tour moves on to Lake Naivasha, where you’ll embark on a boat ride. As you cruise along the lake, you’ll have the opportunity to spot hippos and observe a wide variety of bird species, with more than 350 calling the lake home.

The boat ride will take you to the shores of Crescent Island, a private conservancy where you’ll enjoy great views of the Island and wildlife from the boat (this is a private sanctuary, and the conservancy entrance is not included in the package). Here, you’ll be able to spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other animals and flocks of birds such as Pelicans and Egyptian Geese in their natural habitat, all while soaking in the serenity of this beautiful area.

As the day comes to an end, you’ll be driven back to your accommodation in Naivasha, Nairobi, or Kiambu concluding your adventure-filled day with incredible memories of Kenya’s natural wonders.

-Wear shoes and clothes appropriate for a walking tour and hike. They should be ideal for dusty, wet, or muddy conditions.
