Masai Mara National Reserve
This popular 3-day safari offers an immersive wildlife experience in one of Africa’s most iconic reserves, the Masai Mara. Starting from Nairobi, you embark on a scenic drive (about 5-6 hours) through the Great Rift Valley to the Mara, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. The first day often includes a cultural visit to a Maasai village or boma, where you learn about the Maasai people's traditions and lifestyle.
The second day is dedicated to full-day game drives, with early morning and late afternoon sessions to maximize wildlife sightings. This is the best time to witness the Great Migration (July to October) with dramatic river crossings and predator-prey interactions. You can enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or return to your lodge for meals.
On the third day, after an optional early morning game drive, you return to Nairobi, concluding the safari with unforgettable memories of the Big Five, vast savannahs, and rich cultural encounters.
