A 4-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro is a popular and action-packed itinerary that covers the highlights of Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit. It's a great option for travelers who want to see a lot in a short amount of time, with a focus on big-game viewing and spectacular landscapes.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha (or Kilimanjaro Airport, JRO) after breakfast.

The drive to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 2-3 hours.

Upon arrival, you'll begin your game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population, iconic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.

In the afternoon, you will continue your game drive before heading to your accommodation near the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park.

The journey is a game drive in itself, as you'll travel through the scenic highlands and past the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon entering the Serengeti, you'll have an afternoon game drive in the vast, endless plains. This park is the heart of the Great Migration and is home to an incredible concentration of predators.

In the evening, you will check into your safari camp or lodge in the central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Rise early for a spectacular sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, a prime time for spotting predators on the move.

After a final game drive and breakfast, you'll drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive is an opportunity for more wildlife viewing as you pass through different ecosystems.

You will have lunch at a designated spot, either en route or at your lodge.

In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your accommodation, which is often located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering breathtaking views. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater & Departure

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is often called the "Garden of Eden" and is one of the best places in Africa to see the "Big Five" in a single day.

You will spend the morning on the crater floor, exploring the diverse habitats and incredible concentration of wildlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha.

You will be dropped off at your hotel or at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
