5 Days 4 Nights Nyerere National Park & Mikumi National Park

• Departure: Depart from Dar es Salaam and drive to Nyerere National Park (approx. 3 - 4 hours drive).

• Evening Boat Safari: Explore the Rufiji River through a fascinating boat safari experience to encounter the aquatic animals, mostly crocodiles and hippos, while enjoying a rich number of bird-life found in the park.

• Accommodation Overnight at Nyerere Tented Camp

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive at Nyerere National Park

• Full Day Game Drive: Explore the Nyerere National Park and encounter wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, zebras, lions, and more.

Day 3: Early Morning Walking Safari at Nyerere NP and Depart to Mikumi National Park

• Walking Safari: An early morning walking safari - creep silently along paths swept by the feet of large animals to discover secret watering holes. Watch as families of elephant wallow and play entirely oblivious to your presence.

• Departure to Mikumi: Depart to Mikumi National Park via Town of Morogoro arriving in Mikumi in the early evening (approx. 5 hours’ drive).

• Accommodation Overnight at Camp Bastian

• Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

• Full Day Game Drive: Explore Mikumi National Park and encounter wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, zebras, lions, wildebeests, antelope and more.

• Accommodation Overnight at Camp Bastian

• Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 5: Morning Game Drive in Mikumi NP, Catch SGR Train and Depart to Dar es Salaam

• Morning Game Drive: After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Mikumi National Park until noon.

• Transfer to SGR Train Station: Later, transfer to SGR Train Station (approx. 2 hours’ drive) to catch your train at 16:25 hrs and depart to Dar es Salaam, arriving at 18:10 hrs.
