A charming walking tour through the heart of Coimbra, winding through medieval streets and centuries-old university traditions. We will discover the historic University, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, scenic views over the Mondego River, and the authentic atmosphere of one of Portugal’s oldest cities.
In 3 hours and half we will visit the following itinerary that includes all the historic center of Coimbra:
- Largo da Portagem (meeting point)
- Arch of Almedina
- Baixa
- Monastery of S.Cruz
- Sé Velha (Old Cathedral)
- Museu Machado Castro
- Botanical Garden and Roman Aqueduct
- University (external only)
