Pikey Peak Trek - 10 Days
Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative will drive you to a three-star hotel in Thamel. You may rest or explore Thamel for last-minute shopping. Visit the office to learn more about the Pikey Peak Trek itinerary.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu (1400m) to Dhap Bazaar (2850m)
Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar via road along the Sunkoshi River, passing forests, terraced rice fields, and rivers. Explore Dhap Bazaar and its local marketplaces upon arrival.

Day 3: Trek from Dhap Bazaar (2850m) to Jhapre (2820m)
Begin trekking from Dhap Bazaar, with views of the Numbur Himal range as you pass Sigane. The road may be under construction in parts. Arrive at Jhapre, featuring a stupa and a small Buddhist monastery, with spectacular views of Everest and the Numbur Himal. Overnight in Jhapre.

Day 4: Trek from Jhapre (2820m) to Pikey Peak Base Camp (3640m)
Ascend to Bhulbhule ridge with Everest views. Turn right toward Pikey Peak, passing ancient yak homes and a long mani stone wall. Continue through woodland tracks and rhododendron forests (blooming in spring) to reach Pikey Peak Base Camp.

Day 5: Trek from Pikey Peak Base Camp (3640m) to Summit (4065m) and descend to Jasmane Bhanjyang (3549m)
Start early to reach Pikey Peak summit for sunrise views of Thamserku and panoramic vistas of Everest and six other 8,000-meter peaks (Lhotse, Makalu, Annapurna, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri). Return to Base Camp and continue to Jasmane Bhanjyang for overnight stay.

Day 6: Trek from Jasmane Bhanjyang (3549m) to Junbesi (2700m)
Descend through forested trails, meadows, and reach Taktor for lunch. Continue on a wide gravel road to Junbesi, visiting a Buddhist monastery. Observe Sherpa, Magar, and Tamang communities along the way. Junbesi offers several teahouses and a peaceful environment for relaxation.

Day 7: Rest Day in Junbesi (2700m)
Options:
Visit Thuptenchholing Monastery, one of Nepal’s largest monasteries, home to mostly female monks. Explore interiors and kitchens.
Trek 2–3 hours to a high ridgeline with views of Ama Dablam and Mount Everest.
Both activities can be combined if energy allows.

Day 8: Trek from Junbesi (2700m) to Phaplu (2469m)
Descend via Junbesi Khola, crossing a steel suspension bridge to reach Beni Ghat. Continue along scenic trails to Phaplu. Participate in local Sherpa cultural activities upon arrival.

Day 9: Drive from Phaplu (2469m) to Kathmandu (1400m)
Early morning departure (around 5:00 AM) by shared jeep to Kathmandu (8–9 hours). Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. A farewell dinner is arranged in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of the trek.

Day 10: Final Departure or Onward Travel
A representative will drive you to the airport for your international flight.
