Private 3-4 Hours Budapest City Tour with Gabor
The tour will introduce you to the history of the city, from its beginnings to its everyday life. During the private tour you will visit the old Roman ruins, the Inner City, the City Park , the Heroes’ Square and one of the largest thermal baths in Europe, the Széchenyi Baths. We drive along the famous Andrássy Avenue (a World Heritage Site), where you will find the Opera House, the House of Terror Museum, the Franz Liszt Music Academy and the first underground built on the European continent.
Arriving in the heart of the city, we will admire Elisabeth Square, St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Hungarian National Bank, the old Stock Exchange building and visit the House of Parliament. We cross the Chain Bridge to the Buda Castle and discover Matthias Church, the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Holy Trinity Square, Fortuna Street and the labyrinth under the castle. Driving up to the top of Gellért Hill, we admire the breathtaking panorama!
The tour continues with an exploration of the Central Market Hall, the little Boulevard, where we visit the magnificent Hungarian National Museum and later, Europe’s second largest Synagogue. In the Jewish quarter, we will have a look into the world of ruin bars and the scenes of the night life. At the end of the tour we stop by, the gorgeous New York Café. The tour is flexible and can be tailored to the needs and interests of the guest.
