Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Your adventure with Jossec Safaris begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a short safari briefing, depart for the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve via the scenic Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will stop briefly for photographs.

Continue through Narok Town before arriving at your safari camp in time for lunch. After some relaxation, head out for your first afternoon game drive across the vast plains of Maasai Mara. Watch for elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, antelopes, and many other wildlife species before returning to camp at sunset.

Day 2: Full-Day Maasai Mara Game Drive

After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive inside Maasai Mara National Reserve with a packed picnic lunch.

Spend the day exploring different sections of the reserve in search of the Big Five and countless other wildlife species. Depending on the season, you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration crossing the Mara River.

Your experienced safari guide will take you to the best wildlife-viewing areas while sharing fascinating information about Kenya's wildlife and ecosystems.

Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and departing Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru.

Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with beautiful countryside views, before arriving in Nakuru in the afternoon. After check-in, spend the remainder of the day relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings of your hotel in preparation for the following day's game drive.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive.

Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya's best wildlife parks, famous for both black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, and hundreds of bird species. Enjoy several hours exploring the park before departing for Lake Naivasha.

Arrive in Lake Naivasha in the afternoon, check into your lodge, and spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the beautiful lakeside surroundings.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you will see hippos and numerous bird species from the water.

Continue with a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, one of Kenya's most distinctive wildlife sanctuaries, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas and gazelles without predators.

Guests who wish may also visit Hell's Gate National Park for cycling, hiking and exploring dramatic gorges at an additional cost.

Later, begin your journey back to Nairobi, where your memorable safari with Jossec Safaris concludes with drop-off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
