* Wukang Building/Normandie

*Wukang Road:
It is the most famous street in Shanghai’s former French Concession. Lined with tall plane trees, it is dotted with old villas, classic shikumen houses and hidden gem boutiques. The landmark Wukang Building stands at its intersection. Walking here, you can enjoy old Shanghai’s romantic charm and trendy local shops at the same time.
*Yongfu Road& Anfu Road:
Unlike crowded tourist spots, these two streets carry laid-back local vibes. Vintage villas and quiet residential alleys sit alongside popular eateries, blending old Shanghai elegance with modern youthful lifestyle.
*Yanqing Road:
Covered by dense plane trees, it avoids large tourist crowds. Lined with low, old villas, cozy bakeries and small, hidden-gem shops, this lane maintains a slow, genuine local lifestyle. It is far more peaceful than busy Anfu Road, ideal for relaxing walks and discovering casual Shanghainese daily charm.
