I live in Pokhara. My home village where I grew up is called Serachour and is in the region of the Annapurna Himalayan. My family still lives there.

I started as a porter in 2004. I then trained with the Pokhara Tourism Training Centre and His Majesty’s Government of Nepal Ministry of Culture Tourism Civil Aviation to become a professional governmental licensed guide. My guide training consisted of two parts: 1 - three months of theoretical work learning about the topography, culture, scenery, history, zoology, first aid, training with board information learning how to recognize and treat altitude sickness, rescue, and other associated topics, and 2 - 45 days of practical work, including rock climbing and camping organization.

​​I first started working for a company as an assistant guide, accompanying senior group leaders to many trips into various regions.

​I escorted my first group as a senior guide in 2007. This is my 10th year as a senior guide of independent trekking guide and tour operator in Nepal.

I became an independent guide after seeing a lot of mishandling of clients and trekking staff during my time working for other companies. Working independently was a risky decision for me, but I like that I am able to work directly with my clients and provide them with quality service. I make sure we have a clear understanding while having adventures.

Your safety and wellbeing are at the top of my priority. I will create a trek or tour that meets both your interests and needs. I am able to handle all the logistical information of your trip, from meeting you at the airport, to making reservations at guesthouse/hotels, arranging bus and air transportation, and most importantly, to oversee every detail of the trek in our amazing mountains.
