My name is Anita. I am 48, born and raised in Split, Croatia.

The passion for people and travelling was the reason to choose guiding as my career.

After completing University, I joined a cruise line and before I turned around I had completed 9 years of constant travelling and living out of a suitcase.

The love for my city of Split, my Croatian people and my country was the prime reason for my decision to return to my homeland, settle and follow my chosen career as a guide, sharing my local knowledge with those visitors that choose to travel to Dalmatia, our coastal region, and including all other regions of Croatia.

After so many years in travelling, I strongly believe that guests should always have fun on their vacation, and enjoy it as much as possible in every way. For some, it may be learning about history, arts, architecture. . . for others it is fishing or cooking a local specialty. . . therefore flexibility and spontaneity is what makes a good guide.

The smile on my guests’ faces is the best reward I get for showing them the secrets of my country.
