The idea of this tour route was born after suggestions of our customers, who love legendary heroic history of Ukraine of 16th-17th centuries. The Zaporozhian Sich was a semi-autonomous Cossacks' polity in the 16th-18th cen, centred in the region across the Dnieper river. The Khmelnytsky Uprising also known as the Cossack-Polish War, or the Khmelnytsky insurrection (1648-1654). Zaporozhian Host or Zaporizhian Host is a term used to describe any of a series of forces inhabiting or originating from Zaporizhia, the territory beyond the rapids of the Dnieper River in what is Central Ukraine today, from the 15th to the 18th cen. The Cossack Hetmanate, officially known as the Rus State or Zaporizhian Host was a Ukrainian Cossack state in Central Ukraine between 1649 and 1764.
