Everest Base Camp Trek
Begin on the world-famous Everest Base Camp Trek and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas in Nepal. This renowned trek takes you to the base camp of the highest peak on Earth, Mount Everest, standing tall at an awe-inspiring 5,357 meters. Prepare to explore Sherpa villages steeped in Buddhist culture, where tradition comes alive.
The journey commences with a scenic 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, followed by an exhilarating hike through the Sherpa Kingdom, encompassing Namche, Tyangboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorakhshep, and finally, Everest Base Camp. My thoughtfully designed trekking package includes acclimatization days at Namche and Dingboche to help you adapt to the altitude.
While trekking, you'll be treated to the vibrant hues of rhododendron and fir forests, as well as breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas, including the majestic Mount Everest.
For optimal conditions, the autumn season of Late September to December is ideal, offering clear skies, moderate temperatures, and unobstructed mountain views. Alternatively, the period from March to May provides a stunning display of rhododendron flowers and favorable weather conditions.
Itinerary
1. Early morning fly to Lukla (2800m) and Trek to Phakding (2645m) 3-4 hours
2. Trek to Namche Bazaar (3420m) 6-7 hours
3. Acclimatization day at Namche and hike to Everest View Hotel (3890m) and back to Namche
4. Trek to Tyangboche (3970m) 4-5 hours
5. Trek to Dingboche (4360m) 4-5 hours
6. Acclimatization day. Climb the Nagartsang peak (5083m) and back to Dingboche
7. Trek to Lobuche (4930m) 4-5 hours
8. Trek to Gorakshep (5160m) and continue to climb the Kalapatar peak (5545m) and back to Gorakshep. 7-8 hours
9. Hike to Everest base camp (5330m) and back to Lobuche (4930m) in 7-8 hours
10. Trek to Phortse (3865m) 7-8 hours
11. Trek to Jorsalle (2800m) 7-8 hours
12. Trek to Lukla (2800m) 6-7 hours
13. Fly back to Kathmandu
