We arrived at Bole International Airport at night, then we were taken to the hotel, and after a little rest, in the morning we go back to the airport to fly to Semera. (flight 10:10).

In Semera, after settling in the hotel and having eaten, we go to the Allalobed geysers.

Day 2

Early in the morning after breakfast we go to Alelo (130 km). We eat the packed lunch. We book a hotel, take a guide and a security guard and go to the Dobbach volcano (40 km). There we look at the steam wells and the crack formed in 2005 and go back to Alelo for the night... Modest hotel/motel

Day 3

Early in the morning we drive back to Semera. After breakfast we go to Ulan Loma (red crater lake 15 km). Then we have lunch and drive to Bakadin Loma (green crater lake 25 km)

Day 4

In the morning we go to the village of Hamad Ela Afari, where we will spend the night. In the evening we drive to Karum Lake - a salt lake to watch the sunset. A night in an all-star hotel (you need a sleeping bag).

Day 5

Very early in the morning we go to the Dallol thermal fields, then to the Salt Canyon. If it is dry, we can also see the Black Lake. On the way back, we stop at the pool to swim and then get acquainted with the ancient traditions of Afar salt mining. After lunch, we leave for the Erta Ale camp.

In the evening around 10 we climb the volcano to see what is happening in the crater. Depending on the activity of the volcano, we stay there as long as we want. After that we go to the camp to sleep.

Day 6

Those who wish can go up early before breakfast to admire the magnificence of the volcano. Then, after breakfast, we go back to Semera. We still have to catch the afternoon flight - 17:35 (must be at the airport by at least 4 pm).

Day 7

We deserve a little respite. In the morning, after breakfast, we drive to Bishoft to have lunch at Salayesh Lodge and learn about the process of making home-made alcohol. After that, we continue to Ziway. There is a choice here: 1) on the way we go to see Green Lake – a crater lake, you can also go down) or 2) we drive to Ziway and there we take a boat out on the lake, maybe we see hippos.

Day 8

After breakfast we move on. On the way is Abijata-Shalla NP. There are all opportunities to move in the company of ostriches, gazelles, warthogs and many birds. The dust can then be rinsed off in the hot springs. For those who find it too hot, Lake Langano is offered - cold and brown.

In the evening we are at Aragesh Lodge. When it gets dark, it's time to feed the hyenas. A night in the lovely bungalow accompanied by cicadas and birdsong.

After breakfast, we visit the local village of Yirgalem, get acquainted with the life of the Sidamo people and leave for Arba Minch. On the way before Bedessa, we take a quick look at the waterfall.

Day 10

After breakfast, we go to Gidole - there we get acquainted with the model of ecological farming and continue our journey to Konso. In Konso, we visit a village that continues its life according to the traditions of the people of the Konso tribe.

11th day

Transfer to Jinka. On the way, we visit the Benna tribe and meet people from other tribes (Tsemay, Ari) who are going their own way.

Day 12

Early in the morning we go to the village of Khan Mursi, where the Bodi tribe lives. The Bodi tribe is characterized by the Kael festival and dong fights. Like other tribes of the Surma clan, they have clay plates in the lower lip for women.

After breakfast we go back to Jinka. On the way, we visit the village of the Mursi tribe and here we can compare the differences between the two tribes.

Through Key Afer and Dimeka, we go to Turmi. On the way, we meet people from other tribes who are on their way to the city or to the market.

Day 15

Early in the morning we go to visit the Dasanech tribe, who as a nomadic tribe inhabit the valley of the Omo River and the coast of Lake Turkana. Perhaps there will be a chance to see crocodiles hunting on the shores of Lake Turkana.

16th day

In the morning we go back to Turmi. After lunch and a short rest, we drive to the village of the Hamar tribe. If we are lucky, we will see the Ukuli ritual - the ceremony of initiation of young men into men.

17th day

We are going back to Dorze village. On the way, we get to know the life of the Arbore tribe, which has changed a lot due to changes in weather conditions.

18th day

Today we are visiting the people of the Dorze tribe, getting to know their house building traditions, weaving traditions and agriculture. After lunch we go to Sodo.

Day 19

Transfer from Sodo to Addis Ababa. On the way Adadi Maryam (Rock-Hewn) - so that you have a rough idea of the churches of Lalibela and have the desire to visit the northern part of Ethiopia next time, where there are many interesting places to see.

Getting to know Addis Ababa - Unity Park, market and time to go to the airport to go home.
