Day 1

Morning

Your day starts at 8:00 am, where we’ll visit the Independent Monument (This Monument was built to commemorate the end of the ruling of France in 1953), From there we’ll visit the Royal Palace (Royal residence of the King of Cambodia) and the Silver Pagoda, after visiting the palace, we will have our lunch break.

Afternoon

After our lunch, we will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21). For those who’d like to snap up a bargain or souvenir, we’ll enjoy browsing or shopping at the popular Russian markets.

Day 2

Morning

Your day starts at 8 am, we’ll visit Phnom Oudong, which is about 40 kilometers northwest of Phnom Penh along National Route 5, a mountain topped with the spires stoop from the plains like a fairytale castle. This is Phnom Oudong, at one time an ancient capital. As the capital, it was called Oudong Meanchey; Oudong means noble or excellent, and Meanchey means victory.

Afternoon

Then we will visit two relatively unknown but spectacular sights called Wat Prasath and Basith Temple, all within Kandal Province. Kandal Province which is central to Cambodia and surrounds the Whole of Phnom Penh, its capital is Ta Khmau and contains Udong, the former capital of the country. We’ll visit a family of Silver Smiths that mold and shape Cambodian Silver into works of art. You may be tempted to buy a small piece of art for yourself or as a souvenir.
