The Lions Walk in Fathala Reserve And Boat Ride On The Saloum Delta

Leave our meeting location at 08:00 for Toubacouta . Thus we will cross the country ,seeing sublime sceneries and village . Our first stop will be to explore Kaolack Central Market,to see the amulets makers ,the shoes makers and a lot products .

Lunch Kaolack ,then we move Southwards towards the Gambian border ,where we will overnight at Toubacouta ,near the Saloum Delta or The Senegalese Amazonia . Upon arrival at Toubacouta ,we will board on a motorized boat to discover the Saloum river ,its birds and mangrove .

Dinner and overnight at Keur Saloum .

Day 2 : The March With The Lions .

We depart after breakfast for a 20 minutes ride ,to reach Fathala Animals Reserve .

Once on the spot ,right after the ranger briefing ,you will start a 40 minutes walk with .

And then back to our ending location

Notice : the lions walk is forbidden to those whose are under :1,45 meters in size.
