Annapurna circuit
This stands as my most adventurous trekking experience. It's among the world's classic long-distance hiking trails, and remains one of Nepal's most challenging for me. The Annapurna Circuit, once a three-week journey through pristine valleys, has significantly shrunk due to the construction of roads on both sides. Upon the completion of the final road, the roadless section may be reduced to as few as five days, though the date is consistently delayed and unknown. However, the Annapurna Circuit isn't lost yet. Depending on where you start and finish walking along the roads, the abbreviated version can now be completed in 8–17 days. As of 2015, roads on both the Besisahar (east) and Jomsom (west) sides offer alternative routes for different trekking experiences.
