The Vietnam war 1954-1975 has witnessed lots of damages and loss in people’s lives. In order to get independence, the Vietnamese soldiers have created their own ways to win the battles.

Cu Chi tunnels is a network of 250 km of underground tunnels made by hand during the Vietnam war by Vietnamese farmers, and soldiers.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Cu Chi is a district of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

There are 2 different sites to visit: Ben Dinh and Ben Duoc, both managed by the Vietnam People’s Army.

Ben Dinh is included in the regular tour programs of 90% of travel agents in Saigon, so it’s usually very busy and touristy. It is about 40 km (25 miles) from downtown Saigon (according to Google Maps) and takes around 1.5 hours to reach.

8h00: pick up and drive to Cu Chi area in 2 hours

10h00: Arrive, start to walk in the war site with our guide explanation in 1.5 hours
