Amsterdam Walk with Rembrandt
We start this walk at the Rembrandt house. Rembrandt bought this house in 1639 in a then newly developed part of the city. From here we walk along some of the places that Rembrandt was involved with, like the Zuiderkerk (church), The Trip House, the pawn shop he used when things went bad, the Weiging House where his guild held their office and where he painted the Anatomy Lesson, The former town hall (now Royal Palace)
The walk will be about 3 hours. We will end the tour at the RIjksmuseum, where I will give you a one hour tour through the Gallery of Honor with some of his best known paintings, and also paintings by other Dutch Masters like Vermeer, Frans Hals and Jan Steen. (Tickets to the Rijksmuseum are not included, but I will book these and you can pay me later)
