Full-Day Nairobi Tour Excursion

Places to visit: Karen Blixen, Giraffe Center, Baby Elephant, + Nairobi National Park

The tour begins at 7:30 am from the Nairobi hotel after breakfast; we pick you up and drive you to the famous Karen Blixen home, now a museum.

08:00 am - Arrive at the first stop, Karen Blixen Museum, where you get a chance to see colonial history and a pioneer coffee enterprise as desired by settler farmers of the past; pay homage to Karen Denissen - 'Out of Africa'-on a guided tour.

9:30 am - Proceed to the Giraffe Center to get up close and personal with Rothschild giraffes, Africa’s tallest mammals. Here, you will ascend to an observation platform where you can see giraffes at eye level, feed them, and take photos.

11:00 am - The next stop is the world-famous David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where we arrive from 11 am to 12 pm to meet a herd of baby elephants and learn about the work done to rescue them from poachers. The orphanage successfully raises milk-dependent baby elephant and rhino orphans. During your hour there, the baby elephants will be brought out to play and feed, and you can watch them from behind a rope.

12:30 pm - After the morning excitement, have lunch for about an hour (at your own expense), then head to Nairobi National Park through the main gate.

01:45 - Get into the Nairobi Park arena for a 4-hour game drive.

Your guide will try to show you as wide a variety of animals as possible. If you’re lucky, you may see animals such as lions, Rhinos, buffalo, Leopards, Giraffes, Wildebeest, Zebras, Elands, Hartebeest, and many bird species.

At around 6 pm, you will depart the park and be brought back to your hotel.
