Cox's Bazar

Cox's Bazar District (Chittagong Division) Area: 2382.38 sq km. Location: 20°43' to 21°56' N latitude and 91°50' to 92°23' E longitude. Boundary: Chittagong District on the North, Bay of Bengal on the South, Bandarban District on the East, Arakan State of Myanmar and Naf River, Bay of Bengal on the West. Cox's Bazar has the longest beach in the world. It is seventh out of total 11 districts of Chittagong division and 26th out of 64 districts of Bangladesh. Almost half of the area of the district is mountainous and half is coastal island. Major Islands: Maheshkhali, Kutubdia, Matar Bari, Sonadia, Shah Pari Island and St. Martins or Jinjira Island. Shah Pari Island has been connected to the mainland some time ago. Being a coastal district, the area of the district increases and decreases due to the creation and erosion of islands and grasslands.

Population 2169668; Male 1108901, female 1060767. Muslims 2036948, Hindus 92408, Buddhists 37805, Christians 1456 and others 1051.

Cox's Bazar is a favorite place of foreign tourists and a large number of foreign tourists visit Cox's Bazar every year.

From that day we will explore Cox's Bazar for 2 days and see everything in Cox's Bazar including some historical places on first day. And next day I will visit several places including Innani Beach, Marine Drive Beach, Kal Tali Beach. After visiting all the places I will return to Dhaka on time.
