5 days Off-Road From Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech –Atlas Mountains – Ait ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Depart from Marrakech in the morning and after picking you up we will depart for Ouarzazate. On the way we will cross the Atlas passing by the fantastic port of Tizi n’Tichka, reaching an altitude of 2,260 metres. Immediately after crossing the Atlas we will set out to visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet.

Passing through different Berber villages, we will reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an amazing fortified city that is over 800 years old.

She has made movies like Gladiator and The Kingdom of Heaven.

At the end of our visit we will go to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the film studio.

Here we will expend the first night.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Agdz – Tazarine Mharech Gorges (Dakar Track)

After breakfast and a visit to Kasbah Taourirt, we will depart for Zagora crossing the Anti Atlas mountains and passing through Tizi n Tinifift port, at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level.

Entering the Draa Valley by a trail, we will see various Berber villages and kasbahs within it.

Leaving behind the villages of N’kob, Tarazine and Alnif, we will take another route through the lost villages to reach the Gargantas of Mharech.

Many of these tracks are those featured in the Dakar Rally.

We’ll end the day by sleeping in a riad in the middle of nowhere.

Day 3: Mharech – Ramlia Oasis – Ouzina Sand Dunes – Erg Chebbi

After breakfast Continuing along the Dakar Rally track, we will pass through more isolated villages, passing uadis (dry waterfalls), snails Ouzina island and dunes.

Along the route we will visit the famous village of Khamlia, a descendant of slaves from Africa, and you can enjoy its wonderful folk music.

From Khamlia we will head to Erg Chebbi, the highest sand dune in Morocco.

We will go to the camp situated in the middle of the dunes, a hour and a half away.

We’ll sleep in a real Berber Tent

Day 4: Merzourga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Valley of Dades

After seeing the surprising dawn in the desert we will again take the camels to return to “civilization”.

We’ll stop at a hotel so you can take a shower and refresh yourself (depending on the type of camp, breakfast and shower may be before the camel ride).

Once cleared, we leave in the direction of Rissani, the origin of the Alawite dynasty and the first imperial city of Morocco.

We will go to Erfoud, where there are many black rocks and marine fossils (if we want, we can stop at a fossil factory) and we will go to Palmeraie du Tafilalet.

We will visit the Todra Gorge and reach the Dades Valley, where we will spend the fourth night in beautiful Riad.

ay 5: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura – Marrakech

After breakfast, Leaving the Dades Valley along the “Mil Kasbahs” road, we will cross the incredible Rose Valley and reach the palm tree Skoura, home to the most famous kasbah in the area.

From this point we will start to return to Marrakech and eat along the way.
