Day 1. Lagos

Arrival and picked up by Vincent, initial orientation takes place immediately or on arrival at your hotel.

Overnight in Lagos.

Day 2. Lagos.

Today's visit begins with a visit to the Venice of Lagos the Makoko stilth village, immigrants from Badagry whose major means of livelihood is fishing.

Proceed to the 78 hectares natural resource Lekki conservation centre, experience the natural surroundings via a birds eye view on a canopy walk.

Some take home souvenirs at the Lekki arts and crafts market.

Visit the Nike art gallery, a four floors building with over 25000 art works and sculptures by indigenous Nigerians.

Overnight in Lagos.

Day 3. Lagos.

Visit one of the busiest open markets in Lagos. The Balogun market is the hub for wholesale and retail trades around West Africa. This market attracts hundreds of thousands of traders and suppliers every week all through the year from neighbouring countries around the West coast.

Proceed to the kalakuta Republic the abode of the former afrobeat maestro Fela Anikulapo Kuti now turned into a museum who through his songs criticized the then military government against harsh policies against the masses and citizens.

Visit the John Randle centre for Yoruba culture history.

Overnight in Lagos.

Day 4. Abeokuta.

We exit Lagos on a one and half drive to Abeokuta the capital city of Ogun state. Abeokuta is home to several museum and galleries one of which is the Olusegun Obasanjo presidential library. Nigeria's leadership history will not be complete without the mention of this ex general who ruled as a military head of state and also as a democratically elected President. Abeokuta was formerly known as the Egba kingdom and played a significant role in the struggle against colonialism.

Visit the Olumo rock which is one of the most popular attractions that's directly connected to the history of the Yoruba people. The Alake's place and the surrounding areas.

Day 5. Oshogbo

An approximately three hours drive from Abeokuta ushers us into Oshogbo the capital of Osun state to the UNESCO world heritage site Osun Oshogbo shrine and groove. Delve into the spiritual significance of the yoruba culture, admire the intricate sculptures and artworks dedicated to the various dieties of the Osun goddess of fertility.

See the abode of Susanne Wenger an Austrian woman who came to Oshogbo and became an adept, got married to a local, loved the tradition, became a priestess and lived among the people.

Visit the Oshogbo central mosque.

Have a local market shopping experience.

Visit Aafin ilu, palace of the talking drums.

Day 6. Ile-Ife.

Depart Oshogbo to Ile-Ife to embark on a tour of the palace of the paramount ruler of the highest ranking king of the Yoruba people the Ooni of Ife's palace.

Visit the Ife museum.

The statue of Queen Moremi Ajasoro and the gigantic and historic Oranmiyan staff.

Day 7. Idanre.

Proceed to Idanre from Ife. Oke Idanre a striking natural and cultural landmark measuring about 3000 feet above sea level. This hill served as a refuge for the Idanre people who lived atop the hill for almost a millennium from the 12 th century until the decent from the hill in the early 19th century.

Day 8. Lokoja city tour.

Day 9. Abuja/ Niger.

After breakfast, we set off for Gurara waterfalls.

Stop by on our way back to behold the magnificent Zuma rock.

Locate the geographical centre point of Nigeria, the katampe hills.
