Lalibela Tour

DAY 1:  ARRIVAL- VISITING 1st GROUP OF LALIBELA CHURCHES

Upon your arrival at the airport, I will warmly greet you and accompany you to your hotel in a private car. Once you've completed the check-in procedures, your exciting exploration of the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela will begin. We'll start with the North-western cluster comprising five magnificent churches. Such as Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, Bet Danaghel, Bet Mikael, and Bet Golgotha (entry not permitted for women). This evening, you will visit or extend for the next morning to see one of the famous architectural rich churches of Saint George depending on your time frame.

Overnight: in Lalibela

 DAY 2: FLY BACK TO ADDIS ABABA (VISITING 2nd GROUP OF LALIBELA CHURCHES)

 After early breakfast, you will attend a morning prayer in one of the churches with your local guide to see how the local community worships, respecting local traditions and people at all times. You will join in respectfully with the beautiful processions and services.

After a while, you will proceed to visit the second group. The four churches south of the river Jordan are Bet Emanuel, Bet Mercurios, Bet Aba-Libanos, and Bet Gabriel and Rafael. Bet Emanuel'selaborate exterior has received high recognition from worldwide scholars.

After a short break, you will depart to Lalibela airport to fly back to Addis Ababa and I will say goodbye!                    END OF TOUR
