Luxor: Full-Day Tour of the valley of the Kings, Karnak & Luxor Temples and More

*1. Valley of the Kings (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM)**

- **Start early** to beat the crowds and the heat.

- Visit the **Valley of the Kings**, the final resting place of many of Egypt's New Kingdom pharaohs, including Tutankhamun. You can visit 3 tombs (additional tombs may have an extra cost). Make sure to see the stunning tomb of **Ramses VI** and the famous tomb of **Tutankhamun**.

*2. Temple of Hatshepsut (9:30 AM - 10:30 AM)**

- Head to the **Temple of Hatshepsut**, the mortuary temple dedicated to one of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaohs. This impressive structure is built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari.

- Explore the grand architecture and learn about her reign.

*3. Colossi of Memnon (10:45 AM - 11:00 AM)**

- On your way back from the Valley of the Kings, stop by the **Colossi of Memnon**, two giant statues that once guarded the entrance to the temple of Amenhotep III.

*Afternoon:* *5. Karnak Temple Complex (1:30 PM - 3:00 PM)**

- After lunch, explore the awe-inspiring **Karnak Temple**, one of Egypt's largest and most impressive temple complexes. Take time to wander through the Great Hypostyle Hall, the Sacred Lake, and the vast array of pylons, obelisks, and statues.

- Don't miss the sound and light show (optional if you have time in the evening).

*6. Luxor Temple (3:30 PM - 4:30 PM)*

- A short drive from Karnak, visit the **Luxor Temple**, located on the east bank of the Nile. This beautiful temple is famous for its avenue of sphinxes and its stunning, well-preserved architecture. It’s particularly magical when visited in the late afternoon light.
