Mousl (Hatra)

The Kingdom of Hatra was an ancient kingdom located in northern Iraq, founded in the 3rd century BC and lasting until the 2nd century AD. It was famous for its geographical location as an important trade crossing, and for its unique architectural design that combined Greek and Persian influences. It relied on trade and agriculture, and the Aramaic language and pagan religion were prevalent in it. It began to collapse due to military pressure from the Roman Empire, which led to the gradual decline of its influence and disappearance.
