Kenya Safari: 4-Day Samburu & Lake Nakuru Safari

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel around 7:00 AM. Travel north through the scenic Kenyan countryside, enjoying views of rolling hills and farms. Upon arrival at Samburu Sopa Lodge, enjoy lunch at the lodge before embarking on an afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Spot northern Kenya’s unique wildlife, including Grevy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, lions, and elephants. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, immersed in the beauty of the arid northern landscape.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve Full Day

After breakfast, spend a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is famous for rare species not found in other parks, including Somali ostriches and Beisa oryx. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, then continue game viewing in the afternoon. Return to Samburu Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight stay, relaxing under the wide northern Kenya sky.

Day 3: Samburu – Lake Nakuru

Following breakfast, depart Samburu and journey south toward Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for flamingos, rhinos, and rich birdlife. Stop for lunch en route at a recommended town or lodge. Upon arrival, check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, then head out for an afternoon game drive around the lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Spot rhinos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, and a variety of birds, including flamingos along the lake’s shores. Enjoy lunch at the lodge before departing for Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. Jadi Safaris will drop you at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, concluding your 4-day Kenyan safari adventure.
