5-Day Kenya Safari: Big 5 Wildlife, Great Migration & Rift Valley Experience

We will pick you up at 07:30 from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment. We will stop for a breathtaking panoramic photo, then continue to the legendary Maasai Mara.

You will arrive at Mara Chui Resort in time for a hearty lunch. After a short rest, your first exhilarating game drive begins. Your local guide will navigate the rolling plains, seeking out vast herds of buffalo, elephants, and antelope. As the sun sets, we will return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in the Heart of the Mara

After an early breakfast, we head out for a full-day game drive. We've packed a lunch for you to enjoy during the drive. The Maasai Mara is a photographer’s paradise. We will search for the black-maned lions, swift cheetahs, and, if you're lucky, a leopard. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the unique behaviors of these animals. You will have all day to immerse yourself in the reserve’s beauty before returning to Mara Chui Resort in the evening for dinner.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to the Pink Lake of Nakuru

After a final breakfast in the Mara, we begin our scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. We will arrive in time for a hot lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afterward, we will embark on an afternoon game drive. This park is a world-renowned rhino sanctuary, and we will be actively seeking both black and white rhinos. We will also witness the spectacular sight of thousands of pink flamingos lining the shore. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru & A Walking Safari on Crescent Island

Following breakfast, we will have a final morning game drive in Lake Nakuru. We will focus on spotting elusive leopards and tree-climbing lions. We then depart for nearby Lake Naivasha. A unique experience awaits you upon arrival.

You will have lunch and then head to Crescent Island for a captivating walking safari. With no predators on the island, you can walk freely among giraffes, zebras, and waterbucks. We will then return to Crater Lake Lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Crater Lake Nature Walk & Departure

Enjoy an early morning nature walk directly from Crater Lake Lodge. The lodge sits on a volcanic crater and offers a truly unique experience. You will get close to wildlife like giraffes and zebras in a serene environment.

After a final breakfast, we will depart for Nairobi. You have the option to take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha before proceeding to the city. This marks the end of your incredible 5-day adventure.
