FLOATING MARKET, CEMPAKA, MARTAPURA, PANDAK DAUN, LOKSADO.

Early morning, pick-up from your hotel to visit the Banjarmasin floating market, part of Kalimantan's riverside life. Here, we will explore the unique culture of the Banjar people, who trade products such as fruits and vegetables from boat to boat. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Continue by car to the village of Cempaka to explore the diamond mine and traditional , where people extract the material from the ground and then shake it with a wooden scoop to find rough diamonds. Lunch. Continue to the village of Pandak Daun, built on stilts in the swamp, where we will observe the unique activity of the buffalo farmers. In the late afternoon, when the water buffalo swim, they return to the stall. We can enjoy the romantic sunset view over the swamp before continuing to Loksado for an overnight stay at the Meratus Resort.

DAY 2.

LOKSADO, TREKKING IN THE MERATUS MOUNTAINS FOREST.

Breakfast at the Lodge. We begin our jungle trek to the Dayak tribe villages, walking through the forest, over hills and past waterfalls. We will cross bamboo suspension bridges through farmlands, over rivers and waterfalls, and meet the local Dayak tribe in their communal houses. We will have lunch at local restaurants, return to the lodge in Loksado, have dinner, and spend the night at the resort.

DAY 3.

LOKSADO, BAMBOO RAFTING, BANJARMASIN.

Breakfast at the Lodge. Early in the morning we have breakfast at the Lodge, where a new adventure awaits us. We will navigate down the Amandit River on a handmade bamboo raft, crossing the beautiful landscape of the rainforest along the riverbank to end in the village of Muara tanuhi, where the car will be waiting for us for the trip to Banjarmasin.
