Durée 5 heures

1. The Heart of History (9:00 AM – 10:30 AM)

We begin in the Historic Center (Casco Histórico), the birthplace of the country's identity. This is a well-preserved pedestrian area.

• Plaza Bolívar: Observe the equestrian statue of the Liberator and the surrounding historic buildings: the Caracas Cathedral, the Municipal Palace, and Casa Amarilla.

• Simón Bolívar’s Birthplace (Casa Natal): A quick visit to this colonial architectural gem where the national hero was born. The Bolivariano Museum is located right next door.

• National Pantheon and Bolívar’s Mausoleum: Just a few blocks away, this impressive structure blends Neo-Gothic style with the modern glass-and-steel design of the mausoleum.

2. Urban Oasis and Art (10:45 AM – 11:45 AM)

We head toward the mid-east section of the city for a dose of culture and nature.

• Los Caobos Park: One of the city's oldest parks, perfect for viewing sculptures and century-old trees.

• Museum Square (Plaza de los Museos): Located at the park's entrance, you can choose a 20-minute visit to the Museum of Fine Arts or the Museum of Science, or simply admire the local architecture.

3. Modernity and the Ávila Mountain (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM)

We head north to connect with the city's most famous icon.

• Warairarepano Cable Car (Teleférico): The ride takes about 15–20 minutes. Upon reaching the summit (2,100 meters above sea level), you will enjoy the best panoramic views: Caracas on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other.

• Summit Walk: Walk along the mountain paths, enjoy the cool climate (between 14°C – 18°C), and try a hot chocolate or "strawberries and cream," a local mountain classic.

4. Culinary Close in the East (1:45 PM – 2:00 PM)

Descent and farewell in one of the city's most vibrant districts.

• Altamira Square: A quick look at this architectural landmark with the Ávila mountain as a backdrop.

• Los Palos Grandes: We end our route in this neighborhood known for its culinary scene, perfect for a quick lunch or a specialty coffee before the 5-hour tour concludes.

💡 Tour Recommendations:

• Footwear: Comfortable sneakers (you will be walking quite a bit in the city center and on the mountain).

• Clothing: Bring a light sweater; the temperature drops significantly when ascending the Ávila.

• Logistics: It is highly recommended to hire a local guide or a transportation service familiar with the routes to avoid Caracas traffic.
