Itinerary Highlights

Day 0: Welcome to Tanzania Upon arrival at your entry point in Dar es Salaam, your private guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax and recharge as we prepare for our early morning departure to the interior.

Day 01: The Journey to the Southern Highlands We depart Dar es Salaam early, driving through the scenic Coast and Morogoro regions. As we transit through Mikumi National Park, keep your camera ready—wildlife often appears right by the roadside. We arrive in Iringa Town for an evening of history, including a visit to the legendary "Gangilonga" (The Speaking Stone) and other local historical sites.

Day 02: Into the Wild – Ruaha National Park After breakfast in Iringa, we head straight into Ruaha National Park. Known for its vast landscapes and ancient Baobabs, Ruaha offers a "hidden" feel away from the crowds. We begin a full day of game driving before settling into the park bandas for the night, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 03: Deep Exploration of Ruaha A full day dedicated to tracking Ruaha’s famous predators. With your private guide, you’ll explore the Great Ruaha River banks and the hidden pockets of the park where lions, leopards, and cheetahs roam.

Day 04: Cultural Heritage & The Road to Mikumi Enjoy a final morning in the park before driving to Tungamalenga Village. Here, you will engage in authentic Maasai cultural activities, learning about traditional life and customs. Afterward, we drive toward Mikumi Village for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 05: The Return to the Coast After a final safari-style breakfast, we begin our drive back to Dar es Salaam. We will transit through Mikumi National Park once more, offering one last chance to spot giraffes and zebras before arriving in the city to conclude your journey.
