Day-by-Day Itinerary
Fly from Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your Zanzibar accommodation, your driver-guide will pick you up at 8:00 am and transfer you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival in Arusha at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will meet you, provide a brief overview of your upcoming safari, and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park. The first game drive will take place en route, with hot lunch included. After the game drive, you will proceed to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay. The lodge is equipped with a swimming pool, good food and friendly staff. Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large herds of elephants.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Departure
After breakfast, we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the conservation area supports a wide variety of animals including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big drawcard is its huge population of predators: lions, cheetahs, hyenas and elusive leopards. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor and later depart en route towards the Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
