We were visiting Dominica on a cruise and found Danny. He was great. We had 5 in our group (2 Adults, 3 Teenage boys) and Danny put together a fun day. Danny loves native plants (has an agricultural degree) and loved telling us about the natural health properties of plans on our hike. He picked a handful of plants on the hike and when we went for lunch (really local place), they made us a tea with all the plants he had collected. Very cool experience. If you like off-the-beaten path and nature, book it!

Although the weather was far from ideal, making bird spotting difficult, Danny did his best to work around it by modifying our trip itinerary on the fly. His deep knowledge on medicinal plants was very informative, as I also have a keen interest in ethnobotany.

Today Danny was waiting for us at the pier in Dominica. We drove straight to Champagne Beach, and then had a short tour of the island. Danny provided us with many interesting island facts, and was very accommodating. Thanks for a great morning! 5 stars!!

TOUR: Nature and Waterfalls

Danny was a 5 star tour guide. He is friendly and knowledgeable. We booked a private tour for me and my husband. He was flexible and was able to modify our tour once we met to what we wanted to do and explore. We visited waterfalls, swam in a gorge to a waterfall (the highlight of the tour for us) and then soaked in natural hot springs. We were on a cruise, but I booked directly with Danny. We emailed back and forth several times before we booked. I highly recommend Danny and Tour for Locals

We had a wonderful day with Danny! He was early picking us up at the cruise terminal and took us to an incredible hike that was not full of tourists. He also suggested a change to our itinerary that we loved and appreciated due to the weather. He is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and overall a great guide. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We had a terrific tour with Danny! We're staying at the Kempinski in Cabrits so we messaged him to organize a personalized tour that didn't originate in Roseau, and he was incredibly responsive. He worked with us to create a tour that met all of our desires, and he went above and beyond by explaining the medicinal purposes of all the wild plants we saw while on our hike. We learned so much throughout our day, and would absolutely recommend Danny for a single or multi-day trip in Dominica!
