Thanasis was born and raised in Athens. After obtaining his Diploma at the Faculty of History & Archeology of the University of Athens he continued his university education in Paris (France) obtaining a Master's Degree in History. He came back to Greece and followed the course of guide-lecturer at the University of Aegean and he obtained the official license of guide-lecturer in Greece and France. His particular interest in Contemporary History pushed him to the Military Archives of the Greek Army where he completed an one-year internship and published his first book. While pursuing his passion, he also took courses to become a storyteller, and he has been continuing to do so until today. Today Thanasis lives in Athens and works as an official tourist guide all over Greece. He is fluent in French, English, and Greek and leads individuals and groups in all three languages. He loves meeting travelers from all over the world, establishing interaction, and introducing them to the beauties of his beloved country. But above all he loves to illustrate the connection between different cultures and the rich Greek heritage. As a licensed guide in Athens, he loves the city's rich history and architecture, as well as its vibrant culture and delicious food scene. It truly is a one-of-a-kind destination.
