Traveling was a hobby. The hobby of travel has once turned into a profession to supplement travel expenses. So when I offer guide services to someone in exchange for money, I consider myself a tourist and provide the services my fellow travelers deserve. I immersed myself in Bengali culture by exploring different types of travelers (photographers, documentary makers, anthropologists, researchers, solo or group tourists) with different interests.
As a guide, I can take anyone trekking to our tropical hills or tribal homestays, river cruises across Bangladesh, wildlife viewing in the World Heritage Sundarbans, archeological sites or strolling through the busy streets of historic Dhaka.
So I say
Traveling is not a hobby but a way of life.
